Craving a leftover Thanksgiving dinner turkey sandwich? Then go ahead and have one! It’s all in how you MAKE that sandwich that will keep it low-carb enough so you don’t have to have an ounce of guilt! Here’s how!
Just be sure that you use low-carb alternatives for your bread! One of my favorite ways to have one is by piling a low-carb Everything Bagel with some thinly sliced turkey, a bit of stuffing and top it off with a bit of cranberry sauce! All low carb of course and you’ll find multiple recipes for both just by clicking on those links!
Prefer a more traditional turkey sandwich? Toast a couple slices of low-carb honey bread, load it up with turkey, some lettuce, thinly sliced tomato and top it off with a few slices of bacon! Then slather that toast with mayo!
When I want a bit of Mexican flair I use low-carb tortillas, pile on the turkey, slices of avocado, thinly sliced tomato, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and shredded cheddar cheese! If I am feeling ambitious I might make some cauliflower tortillas… like in the video below! You’ll find the full recipe on Tip Hero’s website.
