Best of the Best Low-Carb Thanksgiving Recipes for 2014

VEGGIES AND NOTATOES

Low Carb Cheesy Mashed Notatoes

This is my family’s absolutely favorite recipe! You can easily make them ahead and put them  in a crockpot to keep them warm. Be sure to grab my Mashed Notatoes recipe not only for Thanksgiving but for any day of the week! We just had them with loaded hamburgers last night and chicken earlier in the week! They go with everything!

If you aren’t into making them cheesy, DON’T! You can just as easily pop some butter, sour cream and creamed cheese into them for a more traditional Thanksgiving flavor.

In my family it’s not Thanksgiving unless you have green beans. Usually we have the ones with cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions, you know, the ones YOUR family serves too!  So you can still have those!

Next to mashed potatoes my family’s favorite are sweet potatoes but they are so high in carbs! So here’s a way of “tricking” them into a great alternative!
