The question of whether or not one can drink alcoholic beverages on a low-carb diet comes up all the time, especially at holiday time… or in the summer by the pool… or, well you get the drift!

One thing that I tell people all the time is that they should be drinking lots of water while living a low-carb lifestyle. As a matter of fact you should aim at 1/2 your body weight in fluid ounces of water every day. But not everyone loves drinking water. I understand that.
