Low Carb Biscotti You will LOVE

“Biscotti” is the plural form of biscotto. The word originates from the medieval Latin word biscoctus, meaning “twice-cooked.” It defined oven baked goods that were baked twice, so they were very dry and could be stored for long periods of time.

sensato_sf_choco_chipsAs you can quickly see most recipes start off with the fundamentals of almond and coconut flours. It’s where they go from there that makes the difference. So have fun and experiment! Just about any of them would be good dipped in or drizzled with chocolate like the shortbread cookies.  I like having sugar-free mini chocolate chips in the house to use in baking. The grandkids use them on their ice cream too! Shhh! Don’t tell them they are eating low carb and sugar free! What they don’t know won’t hurt them!
